Henrik Olund was born in Stockholm and moved to New York in the early 90’s where he studied photography, and worked for a number of photographers, most notably Annie Leibovitz for 5 years.
He started his own photography studio in in the early 2000’s and has since made a living as a commercial photographer, making work for varying clients. In his work, he looks for the “soul” and personality in everything he photographs, whether people, cityscapes, interiors or trees. He currently lives in Dallas, Texas, which is a surprise to both him and his family.
